Rational Rec

The monthly inter-art social occasion

Cecilia Wee is a co-organiser of Rational Rec, a monthly inter-art social occasion that incorporates experimental music, film, visual art, performance, text and cultural debate.

As well as showcasing new work by emerging and more established UK and international artists in various disciplines, Rational Rec provides a friendly yet professional environment for artists and creative people working in different fields to meet each other and chat over a beverage or two.

It usually takes place at the Bethnal Green Working Men's Club in East London on the first Tuesday of each month. Rational Rec is co-organised by Cecilia Wee, artist Russell Martin and composer Matthew Shlomowitz. Season Two of Rational Rec (October 2006-July 2007) is supported by Arts Council England's Grants for the Arts.
